John McCain the war hero
July 28th, 2017 9:01 pm

Everybody likes to refer to John McCain as a war hero. The press is very good at this, John McCain becomes the, "maverick" and throws a monkey wrench into any conservative legislation that may be going through the Senate. He becomes praised and if anybody speaks out against him he is reminded that John McCain is a war hero.

I would like to remind the press Benedict Arnold was also a war hero, until he was a traitor. John McCain is put himself before the country, both a matter of pride.

Term limits, third party, what's the answer?
July 19th, 2017 1:05 am
What's the matter with Republicans that they completely lost your minds? It appears that none of them have the ability to think farther than the next cocktail party. Can somebody come up with a way that is practical where we can have a third-party system to give this democracy some chance of survival?
Isn't there anybody in DC that has a bit of patriotism in them? It apparently this is not the case America is producing total idiots and putting them in leadership positions.
Term limits comes to mind again, it would be great to see house representatives limited to three terms and the Senate limited to two turns. But they have to be the ones backing that amendment or it is never gonna happen. They are not inclined to give up their power because that is the glory that they have in themselves.

Bill Paid $500,000 for Moscow Speech While Hillary Opposed Russia Sanctions
July 18th, 2017 8:21 pm

A new Fox News report indicates that Mrs. Clinton and the lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya, shared mutual opposition to sanctions against Russia in 2010.

Veselnitskaya’s opposition seems self-explanatory, as her interests clearly were in benefiting her country.

But Clinton’s became a curiosity based on the fact that her husband, former president Bill Clinton, had given a paid speech in Moscow around that time – to the tune of $500,000.javascript:nicTemp(Link);javascript:nicTemp( Youtube link);  Read more...

Russia, Russia, and more Russia.
July 17th, 2017 12:11 am
I don't know about the rest of you but I'm getting pretty sick of the mainstream media in its attempt to take down this trump administration with this orchestrated conspiracy about Russian involvement in the last election.

Apparently it is illegal for Republican look for opposition research even when it's brought to them on a silver platter. The Democrats have subverted any problems by having all opposition research from foreign governments, anonymous sources by having everything filtered through their brothers in arms, the mainstream media. It's amazing that Donald Trump Junior when handed something that was supposed to be detrimental to the Clintons, refused to take it because it couldn't be verified. This never would happen if the roles would been reversed. The Democrats did in fact have many fake charges brought against Trump through their buddies in the media.Anyway I am just tired of hearing it on every newscast every hour 24 seven.  Read more...

Bucking a national trend, St. Louis is lowering its minimum wage
July 7th, 2017 12:05 am

Regardless of the report, minimum wages in dozens of cities and local jurisdictions continue to be on the way up, with some areas (like Seattle) also phasing in increases towards $15 per hour. The exception is St. Louis, Mo, where the minimum wage – according to this report in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch – is set to go down:  from $10 to $7.70 per hour.

“Disgusting,” was the response from Fight for $15, a national labor group.Eric Greitens, Missouri’s governor, thinks differently. “This increase in the minimum wage might read pretty on paper, but it doesn’t work in practice,” he told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. “Government imposes an arbitrary wage, and small businesses either have to cut people’s hours or let them go.”javas  Read more...
