What caused the fire in London burn so fast?

This was a Concrete iron structure, and usually structure like this will burn very slow and it'll take time for the fire to go from one for the other. But this fire 20 floors in less than half an hour. You might consider that the building was just upgraded to be green, environmentally clean. It has been suggested that insulation is put on the outside of the building and a new green low-energy heating system was put in the building. It will be interesting to find out if this insulation on the outside is flammable. This would not be unusual for the global warming crowd to sacrifice safety to save a gallon of diesel fuel.

Just a guess that they were going to find out that the upgrade of this building cut many corners when it comes to safety of the occupants, to accomplish lower energy use and save the planet.

Green deathtraps: energy-saving renovation blamed for horrific Grenfell Tower fire in London
By Thomas Lifson
In the wake of the ghastly conflagration that engulfed a recently-renovated 24 story apartment tower in London, the world is waking up to the dire threat created by energy-saving green zealots. It turns out that nobody much worried about the fire hazard involved when flammable materials were used to add an outer “skin” of cladding to the building, creating heat insulation thanks to the air pocket between the new cladding and the old exterior wall, but also providing an ideal space for fire to race up the building. As happened.

The loony left never believes that there are repercussions for their actions. My mother used to say when I did something stupid, " you can't see farther than the end of your nose. "
